  • FSSAI License

    You have to register under Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to manufacture, distribute and transport food products. FSSAI is established under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The FSSAI has been established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. FSSAI Certificate and FSSAI License are same which ensures the quality, purity and other important factors the customers can rely upon.

    It is advisable to renew FSSAI Food license within stipulated time limit, to avoid a fine of Rs. 100 for each day of delay.

  • Import Export Code Registration

    Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce & Industries, issues IEC registration. Import Export Code is a ten digit code which is issued by DGFT. For carrying out Import Export activities in India obtaining IEC registration is compulsory, without having IEC license no business can involve in import export activity.

  • Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)

    A Digital Signature Certificate is a secure digital key that is issued by the certifying authorities for the purpose of validating and certifying the identity of the person holding this certificate. Digital Signatures make use of the public key encryptions to create the signatures.

    • Class 1 Certificates: These are issued to individual/private subscribers and are used to confirm that the user’s name and email contact details from the clearly defined subject lie within the database of the certifying authority.
    • Class 2 Certificates: These are issued to the director/signatory authorities of the companies for the purpose of e-filing with the Registrar of Companies (ROC). Class 2 certificate is mandatory for individuals who have to sign manual documents while filing of returns with the ROC.
    • Class 3 Certificates: These certificates are used in online participation/bidding in e-auctions and online tenders anywhere in India. The vendors who wish to participate in the online tenders must have a Class 3 digital signature certificate.
  • MSME | SSI Registration
    • The owner or founder of the micro, small or medium scale enterprise must fill a single form to begin MSME registration. The form can be filled online and offline as well.
    • Through an individual registration, a person can register for more than one industry
    • Document Required for the MSME Registration:
      • Aadhar number of the applicant
      • Name, gender, PAN, email id and mobile number of the applicant.
      • PAN, address and location of the organization.
      • A number of employees
      • Bank account number and IFSC code
      • The basic business activity of the enterprise
      • NIC 2 digit code
      • Investment in plant and machinery/equipment
      • MoA and AoA
      • Copies of Sale Bill and Purchase Bill
  • ESI Registration

    ESI stands for Employee State Insurance managed by the Employee State Insurance Corporation which is an autonomous body created by the law under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Any organisation having more than 10 employees (in some states it is 20 employees) who have a maximum salary of Rs. 15000/- has to mandatorily register itself with the ESIC.

    The documents required for the registration are:

    • A registration certificate obtained either under the:
      • Factories Act
      • Shops and Establishment Act
    • Certificate of Registration in case of Company, and Partnership deed in case of a Partnership
    • Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the Company
    • A list of all the employees working in the Establishment
    • PAN Card of the Business Entity as well as all the Employees working under the entity
    • The compensation details of all the employees
    • A cancelled cheque of the Bank Account of the Company
    • List of Directors of the Company
    • List of the Shareholders of the Company
    • Register containing the attendance of the employees
    • Form No – 1 (Employers Registration Form) is to be filled and submitted. After verification of the form, the government will issue a 17 digit unique number
    • After the registration ESI Returns have to be filed twice a year.
  • Trade License
    • A trade license is a document/certificate that gives the permission to the applicant (person seeking to open a business) to commence a particular trade or business in a particular area/location.
    • Eligibility for a Trade license
      • The applicant must have crossed the age of 18 years
      • The applicant must not have any criminal records
      • Business must be legally permissible
    • The validity of a license issued by the municipal authority is for a period of one year and required to be renewed every year.
    • The application for renewal of the license is to be made within thirty days from the date of its expiry. In case the renewal process is delayed, then it may attract fine depending upon the rules and regulation of the issuing authority.
  • Professional Tax Registration

    It is the responsibility of the employer to get registered for Professional Tax.

    • For Professional Tax Employer :
      • Employer needs to file Form 3 for Registration.
      • Registration number starts from ‘PEC’.
      • Every year payment should be made before 30th November.
    • For Professional Tax Employee :
      • Form 1 need to be filed for Registration.
      • Registration number starts from ‘PRC’.
      • This is used to pay Professional Tax deducted every month from the salary of employees.
      • Payment should be made before 15th of the next month/quarter.
  • Shops and Establishment Act Registration

    Registration under Shop and Establishment Act is mandatory under the respective state act for every person who is starting any commercial activity and should apply for it within 30 days of commencing operations. The application must be submitted to the local municipal corporation of the respective state for getting the license. This Act was mainly enacted to regulate the conditions of workers and employees working in a shop or commercial establishments.

  • RERA Registration

    RERA, full form of which is Real Estate Regulatory Authority, stands for transparency in the real estate industry. With RERA, all brokers will have to be mandatorily registered with the concerned state-level regulatory authorities. Real estate agents will be given a registration number by the authority which will be valid for 5 years and will be quoted in every transaction facilitated by him.

    Real estate agents will also be penalized if they will falsely represent any information regarding project to buyers. Penalty will extend upto Rs 10,000 per day and maximum 5% of total project cost. Real estate agent is also required to keep books of accounts of the projects they are indulged in and are answerable for them.
